Having recently joined the Swim Club Committee, I thought I would try my hand at fund raising.  So, after many ideas, I decided to keep it simple....
 
As an avid reader I decided to ask friends and family to donate their unwanted books and then to sell them on for £1 each, with all proceeds going to the Swim Club. So, if you want to clear out space, please donate the books you are finished with. Perhaps maybe you could also buy some credit crunching holiday reads for only £1 each. You can then while away the hours by the pool in Sunderland, at Galas or on holiday with a few fantastic books!. Please feel free to contact me (or my husband Mike) on pool side to donate or buy. We are there when olympic hopefuls and competitive development are swimming. Please see the list of available books below and the total raised so far.
 
Feel free to show the list below to your family, friends, colleagues etc. The more we sell the more we raise for the club and our swimmers!
