It’s that time again, to get your creative juices flowing !!!
The club are looking for an original logo for the up and coming Summer Splash 2014 Gala.
We would like it to be designed by one of our young club members. The winning design will be included on all promotional materials, including the programme and t-shirts etc. The winning designer will receive a free hoody with the logo on.
So why not be creative and have a go ???
Rules
- The logo may be hand drawn or created using ICT
- It must include the words ‘Summer Splash 2014’
- It must have the club’s ‘S’ logo somewhere (Brush Script Font – CAPITAL)
- Design to be handed in at the club desk by Sunday 8th June 2014
- Computer designs can be emailed to galas@cityofsunderlandasc.co.uk
- The winning design will be chosen by the gala committee the following week

What makes a good logo?
- Good logo’s tend to be simple and easy to recognise (e.g. Nike or McDonalds)
- Don’t use photographs or commercial clipart. Keep it simple.
- It should work in colour or black and white (if it needs to be photocopied)
- It should still be recognisable when large or small
