Portuguese National Open Meet 2014

Eighteen year old Adam Taylor’s excellent swimming form was recognised with selection for the GB National Youth Team to compete at the Portuguese National Open Meet held in Oeiras.

In winning form, Adam swam to second place in the final of the 200m backstroke to claim a silver medal, touching the wall in 2:04.62 minutes.  He then swam the backstroke leg of the 4 x 100m medley relay and helped secure a bronze medal with his team mates Joshua Winnicott, Kevin Wallbank and Bradley Lynn.

Adam’s selection for this prestigious event will hopefully be just the start of a promising international swimming career.
