The National Open Water Festival 2018 will return to Rother Valley Country Park in 2018 for two days of competition. The Festival will incorporate the:
National Open Water Masters Championships
National Open Water Age Group Championships
Team 2k
The Masters events will take place on Sunday 29 July and is the calendar highlight for open water Masters swimmers, making it their only opportunity to compete for national honours.
The Team 2k participation event will also take place on Sunday. Last year’s event saw teams of four taking on the relay challenge.
The National Age Groups events will take place the following day on Monday 30 July, where young open water stars will take to the water in allocated age groups. The Championships is the country’s flagship open water age group event attracting the future stars of open water swimming.
2018 Swim England Open Water Age Group Event Conditions
The National Summer Meet (50m) 2018 is Swim England’s biggest domestic swimming event of the year.
It takes place at Ponds Forge, Sheffield from 31 July – 4 August.
The Summer Meet forms part of a swimming competition structure in Great Britain whereby the top ranked swimmers in each event are invited to compete at the British Swimming Summer Championships.
The next ranked swimmers at English affiliated clubs – or those who have chosen to be ranked as an English swimmer – are invited to compete at the English Nationals.
The rankings are on swimmers’ performances at level 1 meets between the qualification window, between 1 March and 28 May 2018.
A full list of qualified swimmers will be published on 8 June 2018.

COSASC are to hold their annual Level 4 in house Club Championship on Thursday 13th September – warm up: 4.30pm, start: 5pm.
Price is £20.00 per swimmer no matter how many events are entered.
The closing date for entries is Monday 16th July.
This meet is open to all competitive swimmers who are COSASC members.
Coaches of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum squads will advise athletes as to which swims to enter.
AGD and Performance squads to enter all swims.
Masters can enter all events.
