On 24 September, 2016 two of our Masters swimmers, Chris Toop and Norman Stephenson competed in the North East Region ASA Masters Championship in Harrogate. The swimmers participated in seven events each and gained medals in the majority of their swims. Norman, as usual scooped a large haul of medals even though he was swimming in the 60 + category, this means his fellow competitors were up to 12 years his junior! He won a total of  seven medals including four silvers and one gold Well done Norman! Chris goes from strength to strength with his swims scoring a total of five medals including three golds. Well done Chris!
