The Masters Squad is for anyone over 18 years of age who enjoys swimming in a sociable environment. You don’t have to be a competitive swimmer to join, just as long as you can keep up with the pace, you can use any stroke you wish.

City of Sunderland ASC swimmers Matthew Wylie and Jennifer Tatters ‘crossed the road’ to attend the 19th Sunderland Young Achievers Event held at the Sunderland Stadium of Light, where they were both nominated in the ‘Sport 15 to 20 years age group.’
Five swimmers from the City of Sunderland ASC were amongst the first athletes to swim competitively in London’s new Olympic Aquatic Pool, in the 2012 British Championships / Olympic qualifiers.
