The annual membership renewal process will begin shortly. The Membership Team will issue renewal packs to all current members and details will be posted on the website regarding the return of the completed forms and membership fees.
Whilst the club has made every effort to maintain the current fee structure a few changes have been made to remove anomalies and cater for differing members’ needs. The new fees, which will be effective from the 1st April 2017, were announced at the AGM held on Saturday 28th January. The changes are:
- The annual membership fee for under 18 age group and the over 18 and over age group has been brought in line and will be £100 for non-competitive and £120 for competitive membership.
- The concessionary membership fee for Masters swimmers will be £25 for non-competitive and £50 for competitive membership. (Masters Concessionary membership is reserved for those club members, who in the opinion of the COSASC Board, have had long and meritorious service as a club member (volunteer or competitor) or outstanding achievement as a competitor).
- The monthly training fees for Junior Silver will be increased to £40 to bring them in line with Junior Gold as they have access to the same amount of training.
- A new category of membership, ‘University Alumni’ will be introduced. This is for students who are studying away and cannot attend regular training sessions. The annual membership fee will be £100 for non-competitive and £120 for competitive membership. The training fee will be three monthly training fees at the rate appropriate to the squad per year.  Payment will be pro rata over the year. For example a student member training with Masters will pay a training fee of £90 per year at a rate of £7.50 per month. Payment must be made by standing order. If a student member wishes to continue competing for the club but will not be attending any training sessions then no training fee will be incurred.
