Swimmer Of The Month is awarded by the coaches of Development, Junior Gold and Junior Silver squads.
Criteria is based on a swimmers …
- Attitude to training and competitions
- Aptitude for skills and athlete development
- Attendance to sessions & competitions
Awards
Each selected swimmer will be presented with …
- The Squad Shield with the selected swimmers name engraved on a mini-plaque. Note: the shield must be returned.
- A personalised / engraved Medal.
- A Laminated Swimmer of the Month Certificate.
Additionally a picture can be taken and a notice put onto various noticeboards – including the main electronic scoreboard.
Please Note: the shields must be returned to the club 1 week before the next presentation – to allow time for engraving. The exact date for this is published …. etc etc
If the shield is not returned on time it will not be presented to the next winner on presentation night.
Continued failure to return shields on time will result in the shield not being allowed to be taken away from the pool.
