This event will be for the following groups:

Our entries need to close on Sunday, 08 September 2024 to give us enough time to get them processed.
Including Admin Fee, the cost per swim upto 200m is £8.75 . Distance swims (400m) cost £10.00 .
Swims will be agreed with or given to athletes by their coach. Youth Development please speak with your coach.
Important: To enter a 400m freestyle event you must select 800m freestyle, then list the 400m freestyle time in the comments box.
When completing your entry, please provide times for all events entered.
Swimmers must have achieved faster times than those in the attached document.
Age as at 13 October 2024.
We are unable to accept late entries.

• Performance (ONLY for Non-Scottish National Qualifiers to Enter)
Our entries need to close on Thursday, 19 September 2024 to give us enough time to get them processed and submitted as this is a first come first served Gala.
Including Admin Fee, the cost per swim is £8.00 .
Swims will be agreed with or given to athletes by their coach. Youth Development please speak with your coach.
When completing your entry, times must be provides for all events entered as we have to enter these manually. Any entry with no time provided will be rejected.
Swimmers must not have achieved faster times than those in the attached document.

50m Pool with separate 25m warm-up / cool-down pool. Full electronic timing with Live Results published on our website. Level 1 Meet (Licence number: 1NE250041).
Events will be 50m all strokes, 100m all strokes, 200m all strokes, 200m Individual Medley, 400m Individual Medley, 400m Freestyle, 800m freestyle (mixed), 1500m Freestyle (mixed).
All events will be Heat Declared Winners.
Officials
As with any gala, we can only run them with the support of local and visiting officials. If any visiting club has registered ASA officials that would be willing to lend a hand, we would appreciate them letting us know their availability for this meet by emailing officials@cityofsunderlandasc.co.uk

Notes For Competition Secretaries
Distance Events
Please note that Distance events will be held on Friday 17th January. The cost of distance events is £12.00 per entry – to cover pool costs. SportSystems does not support 2 different costs – so will report distance swims as £8.00 (if you create an entry report). Please disregard this when completing the ‘Summary of Entries’ sheet.
Classified Para Swimmers
Please ensure classification codes (S,SB,SM etc) are entered. (These should be retrieved from the ASA database – if using ‘Get Member’ function.) We do not publish separate qualification times for Para Swimmers, so any officially classified swimmer will be accepted in principle. Please use the ‘Get Times’ function to retrieve latest times. If the swimmer does not have the time or time is too slow (box turns YELLOW) – please click the box until you get a green YES. Detail any Para Swimmer in your mail to the entry manager when sending the entry file.
YES Entries
Only in exceptional circumstances will ‘YES’ entries be accepted for able-bodied swimmers. Do NOT use ‘YES’ entries to override entries retrieved from the ASA Database which are too slow – i.e. box turns YELLOW. If you believe you have a genuine case, please email galas@cityofsunderlandasc.co.uk to explain.
