Underlining the quality of Swimmers at the COSASC 2012 May OPEN – a total of 31 records were broken.
For the girls, a total of 12 records fell – with Kirsty Armstrong (B.E.S.T.) the pick of the bunch with 3.
For the boys, a total of 19 records were claimed – with  Oliver Smith (Cockermouth) breaking 4 and Thomas Beeley & Suleman Butt (both from Aberdeen) each taking 3.
