Details:
The Championships will take place at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, from 30 October to 1 November 2026.
This event will be for those in the relevant age group categories and have qualifying times. If you are unsure please speak to your coach at the earliest opportunity.

Entries
Our First entries need to close on the 10th October 2026 to give us enough time to get them processed and so the majority of swims are entered and uploaded. We can then account for any errors or changes.
We will re-open the entries from 17-19th October to accommodate galas that weekend, only due to the deadline being the 21st October.
Including Admin Fee, the cost per swim is £9.50
When completing your entry, please provide times for all events entered.
We are unable to accept late entries.
Please note the password will be same for each gala – If several gala entries are available, please select the correct gala from those available.

Including Admin Fee, the cost per swim is £10.50 per event.
Swims will be agreed with or given to athletes by their coach.
When completing your entry, please provide times for all events entered.
Swimmers must meet the consideration times.
Age as at 31/12/26
We are unable to accept late entries.

Including Admin Fee, the cost per swim is £8.50 up to 400m and £10.50 for 800m and 1500m
Swims will be agreed with or given to athletes by their coach.
When completing your entry, please provide times for all events entered.
Swimmers must have achieved faster times than those in the attached document.
Age as at 18th October 2026.
We are unable to accept late entries.

City of Sunderland ASC – New Year Meet 2027
50m Pool with separate 25m warm-up / cool-down pool. Full electronic timing with Live Results published on our website. Level 1 Meet (Licence number: 1NE270093).
Events will be 50m all strokes, 100m all strokes, 200m all strokes, 200m Individual Medley, 400m Individual Medley, 400m Freestyle, 800m freestyle (mixed), 1500m Freestyle (mixed).
All events will be Heat Declared Winners.
Officials
As with any gala, we can only run them with the support of local and visiting officials. If any visiting club has registered ASA officials that would be willing to lend a hand, we would appreciate them letting us know their availability for this meet by emailing officials@cityofsunderlandasc.co.uk

Notes For Competition Secretaries
Distance Events
Please note that Distance events will be held on TBC.
Classified Para Swimmers
Please ensure classification codes (S,SB,SM etc) are entered. (These should be retrieved from the ASA database – if using ‘Get Member’ function.) We do not publish separate qualification times for Para Swimmers, so any officially classified swimmer will be accepted in principle. Please use the ‘Get Times’ function to retrieve latest times. If the swimmer does not have the time or time is too slow (box turns YELLOW) – please click the box until you get a green YES. Detail any Para Swimmer in your mail to the entry manager when sending the entry file.
YES Entries
Only in exceptional circumstances will ‘YES’ entries be accepted for able-bodied swimmers. Do NOT use ‘YES’ entries to override entries retrieved from the ASA Database which are too slow – i.e. box turns YELLOW.
